Ouroboros
A dog chasing its tail,
never actually catches it.
A dog finds it joyful.
Maybe it’s a secret,
A dog tires eventually,
only to rest, and to start again.
To understand what we do,
will never be completed.
The actions taken
embody the intention,
to pursue life with the perspective,
that nothing truly ends.
Maybe this would get rid of resentment,
and foster a new kind of fulfillment.
Where we do things to feel alive;
and lessen the regret. One day we will die.
The sighs of relief; should actually be
a realized belief;
we can now see,
life is meant to be enjoyed like a work of art,
something we edit constantly and relentlessly.
