My name is UNWN. I use poetry to motivate anybody that was told it was impossible. To encourage those who won’t quit. To inspire those who thought they were alone.

This is why I call this website Ya Write (yeah-right).

My name is derived from the word unown which is defined as “to disown; to relinquish,” according to the Oxford dictionary. It was most commonly used before the 18th century and it’s considered a rare term in the modern language of English. Just like my name, greatness is rare and it is within all of us.
